Now Sang-Ook lives on the fringes of human society, having a hard time fitting in due to his nature. He earns money as a street performer, dancing to K-pop songs and singing. His bright personality attracts an audience, but he struggles to make meaningful connections. Unable to process his mother's death, the trauma of the demihuman pound, and his current hardships, Sang-Ook pushes down his negative emotions. He tries to remain cheerful and optimistic, hiding his loneliness and pain.
